It is believed to be auspicious as it contains water that is healing and can heal skin and other ailments. The spring is believed to have its origins in Hinduism and Sikh religions.
The water from the spring can be used to boil rice or other foods. The lower position has both an inner and outside-of-door pool, while the upper one has an open pool. If you need to take a dip, it is a good idea to have a pair of extra clothes.
